Also, I've read that the gauge's mount screws complete the gauge circuit. So tighten up those screws while you're in there.

ALSO NOTE: After pulling the cluster you'll see a red and white wire with female spade terminal. This is for a tach which you may or may not have. Mark the wire "TACH ONLY" and tuck it in the back if you don't need it. It will fry anything else you hook it up to. Wanna know how I found out?
