Bad Overdirve Relay?

So My overdrive went out on the highway a few weeks ago, and I haven't had a chance to check into it, but it there had been a wire short out where would be the most likely place? I know the switch still makes a click noise over by the fuse box, but noting else happens. Hte light still stays on and it doesnt feel like anything engages or disengages. thoughts, quuestions, comments? Any help is appreciated!!
