bolt pattern for a 71 142 140-160

Et= offset
Offset is 40mm for 140 wheels.
That is to say the mounting surface is 40mm outboard of the center of the wheels.
120-240-700 wheels will produce positive scrub radius,and increase track.
Scrub radius being the difference between the turning axis of the front suspension,
and the center of the wheel.
Track is the distance between the centers of the wheels.
To answer your question,yes many front wheel drive wheels fit 140's well.
Except 75-164's that have a 240 rear end,and use a 25mm offset wheel.
