Overdrive in 144s? 140-160

I suppose yea.. overdrive was optional. To be honest though, I've *never* seen a 144 that came with overdrive as original... except maybe on.. a '74 GL (or maybe that was a 142)... 142s more commonly had them.

Easy enough to convert with the right parts though.

As for your comment of which to get... a 140 or 240... they are totally different animals (as you know).. if you like vintage, go for a 140. A 240 is probably a better car that will last longer, but.. they are admittedly boring (with a few exceptions)
