Slight Leak Under Water Pump 700 1988

Hello yet again. 1988 Volvo 740GLE wagon I bought last week is losing about 2 ounzes of coolant a day. I looked and saw a very small leak under water pump. I tightened up water pump bolts. They all needed about a 1/2 turn. However this did not cure minor leak. While I had water pump exposed I checked shaft. There is a bit of play. Is this normal ? I do not think so but do not really know. Guess maybe its time to replace water pump ? If so what is best choice for brand ? Hepu thru FCP ? Or what from who ? Thanks.
