"New' 245 Owner! 200

Okay, I still have my 745 with the warped head, but I just replaced it with a mechanic rebuilt 245. All in all a tighter car, but a "driver" for sure.

I will have to replace a front corner light lens which is really cracked and broken. I will take the good rear lens off the 745 and swap it out with the broken one on the 245. BY GEORGE, I HAVE MY OWN PULL-A-PART!!

Here's where I need some advice; the lens covers on the headlights are very cloudy and I would like to know if there is a way to clean them up or should I shell out the big bucks ($90 or so each) because that is really the only way to make them better? I am certain that I am getting but a fraction of the light out of the lamps that I should; it may be a safety issue.

I also have one really large crack in my dash that I would like to disguise with the appropriate tape if there is such a thing. This is not a restore project, just a station car, and I am not going to go broke making it a pagent winner. Can anyone advise of a source for "disguise tape?"

Thanks all.

D.
