If you want a bit of extra visibility at the front you can change over the headlamp units to ones that also have a side light/running light/parking light, whatever you would call it there. This can be piggy backed to the original small sidelight and gives useful extra lighting, especially when you don't need full headlights, as well as giving you 7" sidelights! Alternatively you can use this new side light but convert the side light to be a 2 bulb indicator by using an orange bulb in the "white" position. I'm assuming you have a white/orange sidelight here. It would take a bit more in the way of wiring changes though. Best value safety change as far as lighting goes is an extra brake light in the back window. Trucks and 4 x 4's have a chance of seeing that!
