Stuck flywheel

I have a project 1987 Volvo 740 Turbo that is a stick shift. I last started it about 2 1/2 yrs. ago. I went to start it the other day and the flywheel won't budge at all. Thought that the starter was bad but I took it off and had it tested and the starter is good. Put it back on and nothing. So I had someone pull me up the street and I popped the clutch to get it starter and still nothing. So I took the starter off, painted some paint on the flywheel and had it pulled a very short distance and the flywheel never moved. A friend told me that the clutch and the flywheel are probably stuck together. Is there any way to get them unstuck short of pulling the motor and transmission? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
