Anti-seize on exhaust?

Anti-seize will make a very big difference. Applying the clamp enough to keep them stationary but not enough to deform the pipes will almost always insure being able to get them apart in the future.

Adding PBBlaster to the equation before attempting to seperate the pipes will put a smile on your face as well.

I think people who don't use anti-seize are not planning for their future and people who don't use PBBlaster aren't planning for the work they are doing next week.
