Changing Transmissions Questions on Torque Convertor 200 1985

Changed my aw70 to an aw71 recently (higher stall converter) and it isn't a faster takeoff. What it does help with is my A cam - the new torque converter shifts later, allowing me to rev more - but I don't think you want a higher stall torque converter for down low power.

Unless you're doing burnouts or something, stick with the original torque converter.
