1967 144s...wheels 140-160

Hello,

I have a question concerning wheels for my 67 144. The problem I have is that 4 of the 5 wheels for the car are pretty rusty, 2 of which have rusted holes in the wheels....I think I would like to replace them. Anyway, they are teh standard 15x4.5 Volvo wheels. My question is whether the 14x5.5 wheels from an early model 240/260 would fit it. As best I can tell it seems like they would. I would kind of like to use those wheels since they look a lot like the originals on the 67 and they are also a better size for tires (or so it would seem--the 165-15's seem to be hard to find lately).

Anyway, if anyone knows for sure if this would work, please let me know. I figure this is a good place to ask!! If so, I suppose I'll be off to find some 14's.

Thanks to anyone in advance.
