Yes, probably belongs in the Tool Box forum, but there aren't really any tool related posts there, and few replies, so . . .

I have to basically re-do the whole front suspension on my car (strut inserts, all bushings, ball joints, probably tie-rod ends, etc.). Seems like the hardest parts of the job will be breaking the big nuts on the strut tops loose, breaking the nuts and bolts that hold the bushings loose, etc. I don't currently have an impact wrench, but it sure seems like one would make the job a lot easier and faster, at least for breaking things loose.

My compressor is only rated at about 1.5 SCFM at 90 psi, and has a 2 gallon tank. Impact wrenches seem to need about 6.5 SCFM at 90 psi. Question is: Would my little compressor be able to supply just enough air for a short burst with the impact wrench to break things loose? That would be all I need right now, until I can afford to upgrade the compressor too.
