Fuses 7 and 16 melted in place 700

Fuses 7 and 16 are melted to the fusebox. I am aware that #16 is prone to melting due to the current but what about #7? The cover says something about a cooling fan - I assume it's electric one in front of the radiator.

Records from 2004 show the mechanic suggesting a "new fuse box" so this isn't a new problem.

Obviously I will have to replace the fuse box, but I don't have the time right now. The blower fan (#16) and A/C both work, but I have no clue what #7 does or if it's even good.

Does a melted #7 fuse show signs of a problem? Should I be concerned? Or just replace the fuse box and keep the contacts clean?

How long can I put this off? I'm traveling cross country this summer and A/C and working fans are indeed a plus in the hot southern weather.

Regards,

Tim
