my front bumper- drivers side, at the fender close to the wheel is not attached properly, due to a minor collision from previous owner.

I can see a channel about 2 inches long where the bumper slides into and have tried to pick up on the bumper and fit it into position to no avail. I tried using an extra long monster screwdriver from the underside to help get it back on...

I am hoping I don't have to remove the bumper as it is probably a pain in the a^^^

Anyone dealt with this before?
