Too Much Trouble!!! 700

Hi. Thank you for your input. As far as compression, I have 145LB. per hole. I have also removed the pump from the fuel tank, replaced the rubber hose and the pick up screen. I also inproved the ground to the pump. I replaced the rubber fuel hoses from the tank to the main pump. If I turn they key on, or start the engine, fuel pressure at the rail goes to 43LB and maintains it. Also, I have checked the main pump check valve by turning the key on & off. It maintains pressure for about 20 minutes. As far as too much trouble, you may be right, but the car has low miles, is VERY clean, and I only paid $500.00 for it. I figured once it's running, I'll have the most reliable Brick in the Galaxy. If nothing else, I have become WELL acquainted with the car.
Thanks again,
Ken
