Trim Repair advice 200

Over time the plastic clips that hold the door and trunk trim get brittle, break and the trim begins to hang. I used to think that I had to buy new trim sections, the clips looked integral to the trim. I discovered today that the clips can be purchased for $1.50 each. I just slid the broken clip on the trim so they are out of the way and insert the new clips in locations to line up with the holes. I have previously unnecessarily purchased used trim not knowing the clips could be purchased. Don't make the same mistake I did.
