940T 180K Service Time 900

I've been taking my 93 944T in for oil changes religiously every 3,000 miles. Now I am approaching the 180,000 mile mark, which signals the "required" (as per the manual) 180K service. Since I am not blessed with the do-it-yourself gift like many of you, it will be going to the local independent for this service. What exactly does the 180K entail, and is all of what is called for necessary? What is a reasonable price for what is to be done? I remember the 170K was deemed a waste of money, for what was to be done. Thanks for the advice, as always. -Scott in STL
