Flasher Relays 120-130 1968

You may or may not know that the turn signals in a 1968 are controlled by the hazard light relay. I've now installed my second off-the-shelf replacement relay within the last 8 months - both times after my turn signal indicator ceased to work and my signals started slowing.

Is there something wrong with this setup, or have I just been unlucky with my last two relays?

This time, I went for the $3.00 relay as opposed to another one of the (apparently a waste-of-money) $10.00 jobs.

My signal indicator came back immediately, but I wonder for how long. Are there any better choices out there for the signal/hazard relays?
