Need quick answer for a friend - AW70 or BW55? 200 1985

My buddy has an 85 245 / B230 NA. He needs a kickdown cable in a hurry. Advance shows one in their book for that year for a BW55 trans, and I can get it by tomorrow.

Everything I see says a BW55 is in an earlier year, or a diesel, or a 260. The trans that is supposedly in this car is an AW70/71.

Would this cable work?
