Is land really "yours" if you just walk on it or ride on a horse over it? The American Indians with some exceptions were hunter/gatherers that did not creat a culture anywhere's near the Incas or Aztecs. As far as being forced to live on reservations with everything given to them it's now their choice. If they don't want to move and assimilate then please don't complaine. I'm a legal immigrant from Canada in SoCal and Mexican illegals are a big problem and a hugh drain on our economy. But the money they send back to Mexico is that countries SECOND largest source of revenue after oil exports. Banks in Mexico get 10-15% off the top of all money transfers. This is ALOT of money and some gets passed along to the politicans as it does here and they in turn pay off whoever's in Washington at the time not to stop illegal immegration. They don't want the money faucet shut off. That's why your're never gona see a fence. The corrupt Mexican government really blew it! The country could have been another "China" so to speak supplying all the goods to the US. It's a real shame. Now all they do is export people and import money. Hmmm... maybe they're not so dumb after all??? But I'm afraid things won't improve until the Mexican social system improves and their economy gets good enough to entice their people back because after all most would really rather be back in Mexico anyway. But don't hold your breath .....
