Good grief...

Would it have made you happier if the guy driving had been a banker whose insurance had expired??

Here in what some Neo-Cons call Commie Canada, we have provincially-run insurance. Is it perfect? No, there never will be a perfect system. You cannot renew your plate unless you buy insurance: very few "uninsured drivers" out there, whether they are illegals or not. Veritable Communism!

As far as illegals in the US, from what we hear the US could not exist without them: no legal American is going to do what they do for the wages they get. In my mind, that is just a hair short of slavery...

We have some lousy drivers up here as well, many from other countries, but the guy that plowed into the back of my Rustang was a retired midwest farmer driving a 3/4 ton pigup towing a 5th wheel. The crash could have killed us, but where he came from made no difference to the outcome.
