eBay 164E 140-160

Forgive me for a few daydream thoughts regarding 164's---had three on the road over the years--a '69 with carbs and 4 speed--got me to work and home just fine till I moved on---a '73 with auto that I got by trading 2 Peugeot 604 parts cars-it sat in a field for two years-brought gas and a battery-fired right up and drove it home-kids called it Scabby because it had large areas where the paint had fallen off-wife drove it first-then it became my son's first car (we did paint it-and even though we put drop cloths all over, the entire interior of the garage had a light coating of leaf green--sorry, cousin Manny)---and a '72 with FI and the 4 speed w/od-the car was an awesome cruiser and loved ripping through the gears--of course driving it that way netted me about 12 mpg-but what fun. Ahhh, those were the days, thanks for listening.
