How certain that diesel motor mounts are an exact fit for a 'gas' 240 ? 200 1984

Hi, all.
I'm about to order motor mounts (both sides) for my '84 240 (gas), and I want something firmer than standard. I've heard over the years on our Brickboard that folks occasionally recommend the diesel engine's stiffer mounts.

Are they exactly the same as far as their fit (dimensions) is concerned, or just "close enough"?

This will be my first mount replacement experience, and I don't want to complicate my troubles by having a situation where the mount is merely an 'almost' fit.

Also, is the transmission mount also different (stiffer) in the diesel's version, or the same?

Thanks, all.
