OK I am starting to have some trouble with the clutch on my 245. I noticed that when the foot mat got under the peddle I could not shift into gear.

So my question is what is the best way to tighten the cable? I tried to turn the nut on the pedal but couldn't get it to move. Did I do something wrong? I guess what it boils down to is how do I tighten this nut or do I replace the cable?
