Dash removal 200 1979

1979 242 GT... Since the dash and instrument cluster are a bit different from the

later models. Does anyone know how to remove the instrument cluster. It does not

have the two screws on each side as later ones, it has two screws in the lower

part of the bezel. The cluster seems to have a type of clip in the upper housing

and I can see no way to release them. Also the dash will not come out over or

under the steering column. Do I have to remove the steering wheel to slip the dash

out?? I have drilled out and removed the two hidden screws that support the

column. So any help would really calm my disposition at this point.. Thanks all...
