brake booster rebuild kit 1800

Hi all,

I'm considering rebuilding the brake booster in a 1967 1800S. The brakes work great, albeit with lots of pressure, with the vacuum line detached from the booster. The primary driver of this car, my mom, wants the brake booster to work so I agreed to help get it working. VLVworld.com sells both a rebuild kit and a replacement brake booster http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html?1800/toc.htm. Does anyone have experience rebuilding the brake booster in this car with the kit sold on vlvworld.com or a similar product? Anything I should watch out for? How difficult is it? Would a replacement be a better bet for reliable braking? Suggestions? thoughts?

thanks,
Colin
