Dumb question, but I have to ask 700 1987

I just fixed a leaky auto transmission cooler line, and was obligated to drive on it for about 45 minutes today while it was still leaking. I don't know how low my transmission oil is, so I'm leery to drive on it - will driving on it for 30 minutes cause any damage?

I'm not sure I lost much fluid; I didn't have any trouble cycling though gears - but I babied her (more than usual), so I kept my shift points really low.

Thanks for the info.

Ari
