84 GL Steering Wheel work in a 86? 200 1986

The rubber outside of my 86 is getting loose. Could be from doing those carpal tunnel exercises going to and from work. Anyway getting tired of that mushy slipping feeling.

Saw a 84 GL with a good condition steering wheel down a the PUP, maybe a larger diameter and with two horn buttons on the sides.

Any wiring issues with a 86? Any fit issues, do not think so but never hurts to ask.
