Is it my shocks or my springs uneven rear end sagging Please help!!! 200

Greetings:

My 1989 244 DL sedan (153,000 plus original miles) has a saaging rear end, all of which isn't even. The driver's side sags more than the passenger rear-side. The front-end shocks are somewhat bouncy, but the front-end is up to normal height. I believe the rear coils are ok, its just that I think the rear shocks are toast, thus causing the overall sag. Under each wheel well, I have plenty of space, whereas my tires aren't rubbing, but if I add passengers to the equation, the potential for tire rub increases dramatically! Again, it looks as though, the rear shocks, just dropped, they appear to have no pressure remaining within their cylinders? What might be a decent rear shock,in terms of feasibility, quality, and or bargain for the money? I seek a moderate comfortable hwy ride, that is not too stiff, but handles the car with good sufficiency. Otherwise, I believe replacing both shocks may help to enhance/restore the rear-end height. What say you?

Regards
