84 Turbo,plenty of spark and will not start.

Hi Roadside,
Take a close look at the wiring harness at the gray connectors up on the firewall underhood. Also look at the harness itself. One harness goes to the drivers side under the intake and another harness goes from the gray connector thru the firewall on the passenger side... very near the area whereyou were doing the exhaust work. These models are known for having biodegradeable wiring harnessees so look for bad, flaking insulation. The harness going thru on passenger side goes to a black box inside the cabin insde the passenger kick panel. I had one of these boxes go bad on me. But yours could be just the harness. Good luck. I would look in this area first since you were doing a lot of muscle work in the general area.
