Repeat -- Forget the Bulb sensor... 200 1986

That is the stuff that I needed, major thumb up. And now that I pulled the old yellowed nasty Hayes out and looked at the diagram that has to be it. Had it pulled out last night but never looked close enough. Got fixed on the relay just before the VOM blew the fuse.

The old eyes and that Bentley diagram are not a good combo dang it. That is a replaced harness so insulation is not supposed to be an issue. But you are dead on looking at the diagram. Time to get a new fuse for the VOM and start at the alt and work my way back. Come to think about it, I will just ground that wire to chassis and twist the Key to II and see if things light up. That will tell me which way to go. Better call Autozone and make sure they have one of those 100 amp free lifetime warranty replacement Bosch Alt in stock just in case that is problem. The trip to the PUP is off for now at least.

Many thanks,

Paul
