Rebuild the M41, parts are availble for both the transmission (the usual suspects) and the OD (Duane - ODGuru). There is no way to mate a mystery OD to the M41. Stick with the parts that are meant for the job. I did my OD a couple of years ago with parts from Duane, and he was a great help not only with the parts but with assistance. With a little patience, it isn't all that hard. The most difficult part is getting the OD off the output shaft of the transmission without resorting to the big hammer!
