How tough to replace Steering column 200 1988

Eric:
If you managed to get your center armrest installed, then I'll bet you can manage a damaged wheel lug! I like pressing them in and out with a big c-clamp and a socket big enough for the advancing end of the lug bolt to move into. A big hammer would work for getting 'em out, too, then you can draw them into place with an extra lug nut and a stack of washers. Shouldn't be too hard to rule out play in the steering column u-joints, and you're probably beyond needing this kind of advice already: unlock the column and have your extra pair of hands wiggle the wheel while you watch and feel what's happening under the hood. Plenty of advice already on the BB from folks more experienced than me.
Good luck with it!
