Heated Mirror Switch question 200

I have the heated mirror option on my 93 245. I haven't really driven it much this winter as I use the S40 in the snow. However, I used it the other day and went to put on the heated mirrors and the light did not come on and I'm pretty sure neither did the heated mirrors. All the other switches work fine, including the rear defrost switch.

My question is that since the light isn't coming on when I press the heated mirror switch, does this mean that it's a faulty switch and that's why the the mirrors aren't heating up?

Thanks for any info.
