I replaced my 92-960 idle air valve with a 240-88 air valve...any problems? 900 1992

My 92-960 was giving me error code 2-2-3 "Idle Air valve signal missing" and idle RPM was at 450-500 rpm, too low, so I decided to look in the junk yard since the new one was more than $300, toooooo expensive, and I saw that many 240 from 88-89 have an air valve with different part number but they are IDENTICAL to the valve that the 960 uses.

I couldn't find any dead 960 in the junk yard but brought home two IAC valves from 240s, cleaned one and installed it, tested the car with no issues, idle rpm went up to 700 rpm, error code hasn't come back in two days.

Does any of you find any possible issue with this replacement?? the new AIC valve for a 88-240 can be purchased new for around $180, versus $300+ for a 960....but they are completely identical....how much different can they be for such a price gap, they do the same thing, same connector, same voltage and impedance....
Please any ideas will be appreciated.
