Clutch cable sticks intermittantly 200 1982

Anyone else have troubles with their clutch cable sticking occasionally?

The last two clutch cables work great for about a week or two then the fiction increases and they have a scrunchy feel. I'm sure its the plastic coating on the cable stictioning with the plastic sleeve in the housing. So I lube up the cable with oil or grease and put it back in and it works great for another couple of weeks and gets scrunchy again. Lately the plastic sleeve of the housing has be pushing out the clutch end of the cable. Occasionally it sticks enough to prevent the clutch from engaging. This usually happens when I really want the car to go. Anyone else have this problem. I believe I have an after market cable judging from the other posts.

Where does one get an oem cable?

Best Regards,

Mark.
