89 240dl (Auto) Leak under Radiator - how to check and replace 200

Hi all-
89 240 DL (Auto). I have a slow leak forming right under the radiator, even when the car has not been turned on for days. Filled up coolant level several days ago, and now about halfway gone. There is also some green/white residue around where the hoses connect to the radiator.
I'm assuming this is all pretty good signs of a radiator leak. Can anyone just tell me how to check and make sure it is the radiator for sure and not just a hose? Also, if I do need to replace the radiator, is this a simple procedure? I'm in Hawaii, so there is probably not many used options, but I can get a new one for a little over $139 online. Any other options. Let me know if my problem really is my radiator and if this is a repair that is doable.

Thanks.
