Where exactly are those rotor Balance marks on 700 hubs? 700

I have been searching for the hub to rotor balancing marks mentioned in the 700/900 FAQ's on my '89 765t's front hubs, but cannot seem to find them. I have cleaned everything well, and am still not seeing anything. Can someone give me bit more information as to exactly where to look?

Also, if the marks cannot be found, how essential is it to use a gauge to test the run out....I do not have one, and am tempted to go for it and just put the new rotors on....how stupid would that be??
