hello,

i have a 1990 740gl with a regina ignition system.

usually it starts. once in a while and getting more

often, it does not start correctly. it will crank and

the idle will fluctuate and it will not rest in one place.

if i touch the accelerator pedal it will die. if i hold the

accelerator slightly open it will start, then if i let go

of the accelerator it will die again. if i keep my foot

on the accelerator i can drive it. eventually it will be

okay.

does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on?

any help much appreciated!
