cold starting problems 140-160 1970

Yup. Fouling the plugs I was. I was over-choking and pumping the gas way too much. Now I'm able to turn her over just about right away. Then she runs just a little rough, but she smooths out a lot sooner than before. I just turn the key, wait until she starts turning over, and then pump the gas a few times to get her to go. I'll have to keep my foot on the gas for a little bit until she starts running smoother, then I'll just let the choke out a bit to keep her idle up until she warms up.

I'll throw some new plugs in this weekend and see if that helps any. Can't hurt. Thanks for the good advice.
