Broken door handle S90-V90 1998

Group:
My inside drivers door handle has broken, sort of.
Something went "sprong" and now the handle does not return to the flush position.
It still works, and can be returned to the flush position by manually pushing the locking plastic handle.

What does it take to repair this?
I hate to take the door apart, then find that I need to order a part, and have to do the job all over again.

It is annoying enough that I want to fix it.

And I still need to know how to replace a dash light in the instrument cluster.
