header pipe to catalytic connection - just replace it all???? 200 1990

My cat needs to be replaced, the pipe is cracked halfway through right where it exits the body of the cat.

I took a look at the joint between the header pipe and the cat and that doesnt look fun at all. Totally rusted and caked with junk. Should I save myself the hassle and just replace the header and cat at the same time??? I'm worried what the header pipe flange will look like afer I am done with it.

How about the quality of aftermarket cat and header pipe???

Thanks in advance.

Matt
