You know you're a new Brick owner when... 700

You know you're a new Volvo owner when:

You wipe off the oily grit in your engine compartment, and you see a bright color underneath.

You wonder why some people use aftermarket parts, when Volvo parts last forever (then you go get a Duralast part from Autozone).

You don't quite know what your ECU is, but it scares you that it costs more than what you paid for your car.

You open your hood just to stare at the engine.

You get talked into scary repairs by those who say it's 'easy.'

You have a 'parts allowance' in your monthly budget.

You spend double your parts allowance.

You can't find your flame trap.

You can't find your engine block drain spigot.

You start noticing all the old Volvos around town. Then you think about what spare parts you could pull from them.

You get all those jokes you read about Haynes manuals....
