Get rid of the downdraft Weber and put some rebuilt SU HS6's back on the car; that should help. Dual Mikuni's work well too, but expect to do some tweaking and fabrication to get them to work correctly.

Another simple thing to do would be to replace the points with a Pertronix unit.

Replacing the mechanical cooling fan with an electric thermostatically operated fan will help a little, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you have converted the car to use an alternator.
