b18 power , what to expect? 120-130

A couple things come to mind. Like the other guy said, SU carbs will do you
better if they are in good shape.
If your ignition is not advanced far enough your power will certainly suffer!
I set mine statically at 20° BTDC with max advance about 37°.
If you have a single downpipe exhaust that will affect your power and you can
gain some by replacing the exhaust manifold with a dual-downpipe one. You'll
also have to get an exhaust pipe to fit it.
If your camshaft is worn that will affect your power. You can do a rough measurement
of the valve lift with a ruler against the head with the valve cover off. All
the valves should open about 3/8". If any of them open less, you need a new
cam. The factory "D" cam is good as is the Isky/IPD VV-71 for better power with
good driveability.
