My timing belt is loose and semi floppy (possible tensioner)? 200

My 240 has a somewhat loose belt! All of my 740's that I have owned didn't have nearly as loose a belt as this one is. I was just wondering if it might be my tensioner? The belt itself is 10 years old, and looks very good, I believe it is 10,000 miles or so pass its replacement time. I even have the IPD timing belt tool! One of my many 740 wagons with 500,000 plus original miles had a belt that went well beyond its replacement time, try 100,000 miles, and still wasn't replaced (experiment). The seals remained intact and everything. Since the belt doesn't looked frayed and or cracked, could I just replace the tensioner? I have a good supply of spare seals and timing belts, what is the life of the tensioner? Thanks in advance!
