Service Light Problems 700

1. Back in the years before I knew that the rubber cover was NOT the actual button I tried to reset it by pressing it in. Well, it went in and has been in for years now. It is stuck between the button and the faceplate of the cluster where I could get to it with some tweezers (if I would only remember). Or it WAS …

Today I got some tweezers and tried to pluck that bugger out of the cluster, reset the light and replace the cover properly. Well, it was not to be. Now the darn thing is sitting at the bottom of the cluster between the faceplate and one of the idiot lights.

HOW CAN I GET THIS THING OUT???

2. I pressed the little button. The Service light still comes on. I pressed it for varying lengths of time both engine on and off. *sigh* And it still comes on AND now the rubber cover is blocking one of my idiot lights. Maybe I need an idiot light that warns me that I am nearby and about to mess up my car.

Any advice? Thanks!
