Fuel problem 1994 940- Desperate 900 1994

This is a continuation of a problem that I posted 1/12/08. My 1994 940 with 175K was running fine, but was very low on gas. I put a half tank of super unleaded in it and drove four miles. When I returned 12 hours later it wouldn't turn over. The following day after trying again, AAA came out. After trying repeatedly, he banged on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet and the car started, but missed badly. I drove about 10 miles and it stalled & wouldn't restart. It was towed home on a flatbed.
I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, rpm sensor, & fuel pump relay (behind the fuse box). The relay under the hood clicked on and off, the fuses are fine, and I can hear the fuel pump turn on. We sprayed carb. cleaner into the throttle body tonight. The engine started, but stalled seconds later when the carb. cleaner was burned off. Fuel is going to the fuel filter, but doesn't make it to the motor. I'm running out of ideas and money. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
