Good place to open a parts house. 200 1985

I happened to be in the local Advance Auto Parts store this morning, and would you believe, they have an entire aisle dedicated to gauges. They had Autometer, Stewart-Warner, VDO and some others. Every kind of gauge you could imagine, and all the mounting hardware as well, from the under dash mounts to the full A pillar mounts.

I thought that since I have not received my sending unit from E-Gauges yet, I might luck out and find an oil pressure sender that might work. I asked the manager about sending units for the gauges that he had, and was met with a blank look. "Uhhhh, we don't sell sending units", he said. I asked why not, since they carried so many gauges. He said that the kids like to install them because they look good, but no one knows how to hook them up.

Sounds like a great place to open a parts house, and maybe an installation center. Of course the cars that I see with the gauges around here, have cut springs, $10,000.00 stereo's and the stupid bazooka exhaust tips. They bottom out on speed bumps, and have absolutely zero in the go department.
