I just picked up a '91 240(173k) for my daughter and it died the other day with the typical bad voltage regulator signs(dimming lights, battery dash lights came on,radio died,etc..) I replaced the voltage regulator this morning and it started right up but as soon as I turned on the lights the car was losing power again.I thought the alternators in 240s were good for the life of the car ?
